Belfast’s entries are an important part of our city centre built environment. They hold fascinating, untold stories of past and present, waiting to be rediscovered and brought to life. The entries are also key connections enhancing the accessibility of the city centre.
Our Belfast Entries project focuses on improving seven entries in the city:
The project will transform the entries into vibrant places that are safe, welcoming, playful and imaginative. When completed, the entries will improve wayfinding through the city centre and promote the heritage and culture of the entries.
Along with general repair works and repainting, there are also plans for enhanced lighting and bespoke artwork, with creative consultancies Daisy Chain Inc, Form Native and Urban Scale Interventions helping us deliver this.
We hope that with these exciting interventions, residents as well as visitors will be curious to explore the entries and bring them ‘alive’ again.
Works have started and are scheduled for completion in autumn 2020.
The Belfast Entries project is part of an ongoing city centre revitalisation programme developed in response to the Bank Buildings fire in August 2018. For more information please contact us.
