Our vision

Our vision is to support our residents to realise their potential by transforming skills, employability and aspiration, while supporting businesses to grow and access the talent available in the city.

If you are:

• a resident looking for support to find a job or develop skills to move into employment
• a business looking support to recruit talented staff, or willing to offer work placements for young people.
• a young person looking support to better prepare for the world of work, develop skills and a career pathway.
• an organisation working in the city to support people to access the world of work, provide training or skill development

If you are a participant on one of our programmes that has been temporarily suspended, you should have received information from ourselves or our delivery agents. If you have any questions, please email economicdevelopment@belfastcity.gov.uk and state what programme you are a participant on.

Support your employees to develop their careers

We can work with employers in transport, social care or child care sectors, to run a support programme which will give employees the training and support they need to achieve qualifications to progress their careers.
