Cultural Multi-Annual Grants

Applications for funding are currently closed.

Our Cultural Multi-Annual Grants scheme includes two funding strands:

• festivals and events organisations with an audience of more than 10,000
• arts and heritage organisations with a year-round programme of activity

There are two tiers of funding available under each strand – a two-year grant and a four-year grant. Cultural activity can include arts, heritage, architecture, sport, food, language, customs, traditions and ideas.

The two-year funding tiers are due to open in autumn 2021.

Grants awarded to arts organisations in 2020

We invested in 38 grants to support not for profit arts and heritage organisations in Belfast.  These grants support cultural activity from 1 April 2020. ANCHOR grants are for four years (2020 - 2024). We awarded ANCHOR grants to the nine organisations in this table.

ENABLE grants are for two years (2020 - 2022). We awarded ENABLE grants to the 29 organisations in this table.
