    Cashless payments

On 2 April 2024, we changed from JustPark to RingGo for cashless parking.

When using our charged car parks, you should download the RingGo app or register online at the RingGo website (link opens in new window). This allows payment for parking with a credit or debit card, rather than cash. For cashless car park queries, call RingGo on 020 3046 0010.

From April 2024, contactless payments will be activated in the following car parks for additional ease:

    • Little Victoria Street
    • Hope Street
    • Smithfield Car Park

All charged car parks (except Corporation Square, Corporation Street and Smithfield) will be open and free to use outside of charged hours.

    Cash payments

If you want to use cash payments, you will need to input your vehicle registration number into the Pay-By-Plate machine. The machine will issue you a ticket with your vehicle registration number printed on it which will need to be displayed in your vehicle.

  • Car parking enforcement

    Off-street parking enforcement

From 2 April, we also won't be part of an agreement with the Department for Infrastructure for off-street parking enforcement.

We have formed a consortium with councils, Ards and North Down, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Derry City and Strabane, Fermanagh and Omagh, Lisburn and Castlereagh, Mid Ulster and Newry, Mourne and Down councils to deliver enforcement in our car parks.

This will be carried out by Marston Holdings Ltd with some changes:

You will notice some changes such as:

    • the traffic attendants uniforms will now be blue,
    • the Penalty Charge Notices issued will look slightly different and
    • failure to pay your fines could lead to your car being clamped.

    On-street car parking

You can find information about on-street car parking on the nidirect website (link opens in new window).

  • Accessible parking

Most of our car parks have accessible parking bays which is a reserved space for use by Blue Badge holders only.

    Blue Badge scheme

The Blue Badge scheme helps you park closer to your destination if you have mobility problems.

Apply for an accessible parking bay

An accessible parking bay is a reserved space on the public road for use by Blue Badge holders only. In some circumstances you can apply for a bay near your home or work.

  • Electric vehicle charge point locations

Five of our car parks have fast public charge points. Each charge point has two connections, allowing two vehicles to be charged at once.

  • Season tickets

You can buy a monthly or quarterly season ticket for some of our car parks at a reduced parking rate. Read the charged car parks table for availability and prices. If you want to buy a season ticket, call NSL Limited on 0330 135 8927.

All season ticket prices apply for Monday to Friday.
