    Social Supermarket Support Fund

Open to not-for-profit community, voluntary or social enterprise organisations, the aim of a social supermarket is to offer a sustainable response to food insecurity by seeking to help address the root causes of poverty rather than simply provide food. This is achieved by providing, in addition to food support, a referral network for wraparound support which can include, but is not limited to:

    • advice on debt, benefits, budgeting, housing
    • healthy eating advice and guidance
    • physical and mental health referral
    • education, training, and volunteering opportunities to enhance employability skills

For an application and guidance notes, please email cgugrants@belfastcity.gov.uk.

We will be hosting online information sessions on:

    • Monday 18 December from 10am to 11am
    • Tuesday 19 December from 2pm to 3pm

To attend a session, please email cgugrants@belfastcity.gov.uk and tell us which date you would like to join.
