Eligibility criteria for Summer Community Diversionary Festival Funding Programme

This programme is for community-based festivals and events that make a significant contribution to the reduction of anti-social behaviour linked to key dates in the summer, specifically 11 July and 8 August.

For the funding programme, we will use these criteria:

  • constituted community and voluntary organisations must be based in the Belfast City Council area.
  • applications must score above the eligbility threshold to be considered for funding.

There will be an independent evaluation of all events that receive funding.

Summer Community Diversionary Festival Funding Programme in 2025

If a group awarded funding in 2024 does not submit paperwork and receipts for vouching purposes by a designated date, that group will be ineligible for our Summer Community Diversionary Festival Funding Programme in 2025.
