The grounds at Belfast City Hall have memorials to the history, people and events associated with the city. There is a memorial to the Titanic naming all victims of the disaster. The Cenotaph was built in memory of people who died in the First World War. There are statues of Queen Victoria and Sir Edward Harland, the former head of Harland and Wolff shipbuilding yard.
