We have decided to close the zoo to visitors today due to the snow.
However, our animals are having a great time enjoying the winter weather!
Commenting on the snow, Zoo Manager, Alyn Cairns said,
Our keepers and staff have been working extra hard against the elements to care for the animals here at the zoo. The majority of our animals have been born in Belfast, or in other European zoos and so they are acclimatised to the cold weather.
