By car
Belfast Castle is close to the city centre and wider road networks. It is just ten-minute car drive from the centre of town and only 15 minutes from George Best Belfast City Airport. Belfast Castle is easily accessible from the M2 and from Belfast city centre by the Antrim Road.
You should enter by the Innisfayle Park and Downview Park West entrance.
There are a number of car parks on site, these are free to use on a first-come, first-served basis.
By bus
Catch the Translink Metro Bus Route 1 departing from Upper Queen Street in Belfast city centre. Get off at the Strathmore Park stop on the Antrim Road, North Belfast and the route to the Castle is clearly signposted.
