We have smaller rooms available. If you want to hire one of our rooms for a lesser period, our reception team will be happy to advise hourly rates.
Flowers, chair covers or decorations should be hired through your preferred company.
If you wish to view our facilities, let us know dates when you are available and we can arrange a mutual appointment.
Weddings which are booked for between Sunday and Thursday are eligible to 20 per cent discount on room hire only (excluding package deals).
At Belfast Castle, we have a policy that weddings booked on Fridays and Saturdays have a minimum number of 80 guests for a 3pm arrival.
Wedding service only at Belfast Castle
If you are having your wedding service only in the castle, the service must take place at 12 noon. Rooms applicable for wedding services or ceremonies are:
- The Donegall Room
- Ashley Room
- The Fisherwick Room.
Your room hire
Belfast Castle offers a ten-hour block booking for weddings, from 3pm to 1am. The room hire cost is £1,020 (valid until 31 March 2025).
The ten-hour block booking for weddings includes:
- use of entire Ground Floor of Castle, which includes:
- use of Donegall Room for your marriage ceremony or arrival drinks and evening reception
- use of the Chichester Room from 3pm to 1am for your wedding reception
- use of our bridal changing room from 3pm to 1am for refreshing throughout the day
- use of landscaped gardens for wedding photography
- red carpet on arrival
- matching menu and place cards
- personalised table plan
- cake stand
- public address system for speeches and toasts only
Friday and Saturday weddings
For weddings booked on Fridays and Saturdays at Belfast Castle, our policy is minimum 80 guests for a 3pm arrival.
Sunday to Thursday
We offer 20 per cent discount on room hire for all wedding receptions booked Sundays to Thursdays (excluding package deals).
Visit us for a viewing
Smaller rooms are available for weddings. To hire any of our rooms for less than ten hours, our reception team can advise hourly rates.

Minimum booking is two hours at any time. For all bookings, a non-refundable deposit of 50 per cent is required.
